Group Intelligence

Ulthor Group Intelligence is an open-source intelligence organisation. We collect, organise, and analyse information drawn from publicly available and lawfully accessible sources, and publish the result as a public resource rather than as a private product.

What we do

We build and operate monitoring platforms that track publicly reported activity in specific regions, and we publish analysis built on the material those platforms gather. The work is aimed at researchers, journalists, organisations, and readers who follow global developments closely and need something more structured than a news feed.

Our first platform, Red Dragon Tracker, monitors publicly available information relating to China. Further regional platforms covering the United States, Russia, and the European Union are in development.

How we work

Everything we publish rests on material anyone could lawfully obtain. We do not hack, impersonate, conduct covert surveillance, or use information we believe to have been obtained unlawfully. Those limits are set out in full in our legal and ethical compliance statement.

We grade sources for reliability and credibility, phrase probability in fixed terms rather than vague hedges, and label every substantive claim as verified, assessed, reported, or unresolved so a reader can see which is which. That standard is documented on our methodology page, and the material we draw on is listed in the source directory.

Why it is public

Open-source analysis is only as trustworthy as the reasoning behind it. Publishing our methods, our sources, and our corrections lets a sceptical reader check the work rather than take it on faith. Where we are wrong, we say so on the record in the corrections log.

What we are not

• We are not a private-investigation service and do not conduct surveillance on behalf of clients.
• We do not provide legal, financial, investment, security, or government advice.
• We do not obtain confidential or non-public personal information.
