Privacy

What this site collects, what it does not, and how privacy works for people written about in our research.

This site is built as plain static files. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and makes no requests to any third party. That is unusual enough to be worth stating precisely rather than in the vague language most privacy notices use.

What this website collects

Nothing. There are no accounts, no tracking scripts, no advertising, no analytics, no embedded videos, and no social media widgets. No cookie banner appears because there are no cookies to consent to.

Third-party requests

None. Typefaces are served from this domain rather than from a font provider, so loading a page does not reveal your IP address or browsing to any company other than the one hosting this site.

Pages do link out to external sites, including our tracker platforms and the public sources listed in the source directory. Following one of those links takes you to a service with its own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Server logs

The provider hosting these files keeps standard access logs, typically including IP address, timestamp, requested page, and browser user-agent. That is ordinary web-server operation, retained under the provider's own terms rather than ours. We do not read those logs to profile visitors, and we do not combine them with anything else.

If you later add analytics, a contact form, a newsletter, or the discussion board, several statements on this page stop being true and it must be revised at the same time.

Information you send us

If you contact us to report a correction, a privacy concern, or a copyright issue, we keep what you send for as long as needed to deal with it and to maintain an accurate record in the corrections log. Corrections are published; your identity is not, unless you ask to be credited.

People written about in our research

This is the part of privacy that matters most for an organisation like ours, and it is governed by our compliance statement rather than by this page alone.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information an organisation holds about you. Because this website collects nothing, such a request would concern material in our published research rather than site data. Write to ulthorgroup@gmail.com and we will handle it on that basis.

Changes

If what this site does changes, this page changes with it. Adding a single analytics tag or a contact form makes several statements above untrue, so the page must be revised at the same time, not afterwards.
